Tesco, the UK’s largest supermarket chain has stepped into the vegan world. They have launched their own brand of vegan food called Wicked Kitchen.
This serves as further proof that veganism is increasing and people are starting to make better choices when it comes to their lifestyle.
There will be 20 pre-made meals un the Wicked Kitchen brand. They include items such as Caponata Sourdough Pizza, Carrot Pastrami Spiced Wrap, and Wicked Teriyaki Noodles. All of the dishes will be available in 600 Tesco stores starting today (January 8, 2018).
The Wicked Kitchen brand was developed by Tesco’s executive chef and plant-based innovation director, Derek Sarno. He formerly worked for Whole Foods and along with his brother Chad founded the blog Wicked Healthy Food.
